My Twin Sister is Always Aroused!

A healthy and drug-free lifestyle is key in keeping a woman’s endocrine system properly functioning. When such way of living is disrupted, hormonal imbalance occurs and reveals a sexual dysfunction called Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD), which can cause sexual exhaustion and the inability to feel completely satisfied.

Case #: 418

Concern:

One day, my sister calls me and tells she has a problem. My initial reaction is “Oh, great, you’re pregnant!” Instead, she explains to me that she has PGAD. So in my typical fashion, I respond, “What the hell is PGAD!” PGAD, known as Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder, causes the clitoris to remain constantly swollen, like a tiny mount Vesuvius, ready to erupt and squirt tons of molten lava.

She explains to me (in that raspy voice of hers) that PGAD makes her horny all the time, as if she were a self-professed non-nymphomaniac. Now for a then 36-year old, hearing that my sister has some disorder that sounds like a fancy name for “sluttiness” bewilders me.

After being diagnosed with PGAD, Jezebel told me she quit powdering her nose white with cocaine. She claimed to be sober, but now her orgasms are her new addiction. She says the euphoria is so intense at times that she feels like a human version of an IED.

Jezebel affirms that what preoccupies her the most is a fear of becoming insatiable, that no man will be able to satisfy her completely. Now, I am concerned for my sister. What can she do!

Discussion:

There can be a variety of causes for your sister’s condition:

  • Amenorrhea caused by the prolonged use of contraceptives.
  • Excessive consumption of dairy products containing prostaglandin E-2.
  • Dysthymia (chronic depression) or any type of psychological illness.
  • Overuse of chemical stimulants (legal or illegal drugs).
  • Inflammations of the reproductive organs.
  • Functional disorders of the reproductive system.
  • Hormonal alteration (suspension of menses, endometriosis, perimenopause).
  • Endocrine disorders, such as polycystic ovary syndrome.

Hormones are responsible for regulating several functions, including mood, growth, metabolism, tissue function and sleep. The complex equilibrium of oxytocin, prolactin, and estrogen is often unregulated in women who experience PGAD, which results in constant stimulation of the sexual responses that fail to cease through biofeedback mechanisms.

Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder

Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD) is a spontaneous and importunate arousal of the sexual organs that is unrelated to natural sexual desire. PGAD can provoke several orgasms per day and they can happen anywhere, anytime: all a woman needs is a minimum of stimulation such as a vibrating cell phone. It’s embarrassing for many women and most of them choose not to disclose they are suffering from PGAD.

For one to feel satisfied after intercourse it’s necessary to have oxytocin and prolactin in the bloodstream. Masturbation can produce prostaglandin E-2 within the clitoris, urethra, and vagina, triggering the hypothalamus to release excess epinephrine into the bloodstream.

PGAD is still largely a mystery, but researchers feel that one of the main contributing factors for the condition is the inflammation of organs in the pelvic region, which would keep the clitoris constantly stimulated.

Scientists also suggest that PGAD can be connected to the presence of a glycoprotein (a protein that contain oligosaccharide chains covalently attached to polypeptide side-chains) called Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG), which has both enhancing and inhibiting hormonal influences and that causes the pituitary gland to release a high level of oxytocin with a low level of prolactin. This combination will boost sexual desire and orgasm responses, possibly leading to PGAD.

Solutions:

The best way to balance dangerous hormonal levels without unwanted side effects is with a natural solution, which starts with a healthy lifestyle.

  • Consume only organic produce and diary products.
  • Seek psychological assistance to free yourself from mental disorders.
  • Choose homeopathy whenever possible.
  • Avoid eating meat containing “pink slime”, a food additive added to ground beef and beef-based processed meats to enhance look and shelf life.
