To-Don’t: How Having Too Much to Do Is Ruining His Love Life

He’s recently begun having issues with premature ejaculation. While he’s dated his girlfriend for some time, he’s only lately begun having these problems. They come at a time when he’s dealing with a move and a job change, and are making a bad situation worse. What’s to be done?
Case #:1963
Concern:

I’ve been having a major issue lately. I’ve been dating my girlfriend for awhile, about 6 months, and I’ve never had this problem. I can’t seem to keep myself from cumming anymore! I used to be able to go as long as she could; now I can’t even last past the first 10 minutes! We just moved into a new apartment, and I’m in the middle of trying to change jobs, so I really can’t deal with any more problems. Any advice?
Discussion:

You need to cut down on your stress levels; that’s my advice. As long as you’re caught up with all the things you’re doing and need to get done, you’re going to have problems when you try to get down. Obviously, you can’t just drop everything—things do need to be done, and time waits for no man. But taking all the responsibility and stress onto yourself is what’s killing your mojo.
Power Play

It all lies in the way your body handles stress. When our brain perceives us to be in a stressful or anxiety-ridden situation, it releases a neurochemical known as cortisol. Cortisol is an extremely powerful chemical—it can cause us to put on weight, destroy our mood, run amok with our parasympathetic nervous system, and even ruin our ability to have sex properly. How can it do all these things? The answer lies in cortisol’s effect on the body systems.
Be a Lover, Not a Fighter

The parasympathetic nervous system, better known as the “fight-or-flight” response, is activated once the body registers the presence of cortisol. The adrenal gland begins pumping out adrenaline and noradrenaline, causing a spike in heart rate, as well as the redirection of blood from all outer limbs to the more necessary points of brain and heart. This in itself would be enough to cause issues in your sex life; with blood being directed away from the genitals, a proper erection becomes quite difficult. But there’s more to it than that.
Sex Hormones Needed

The adrenal glands produce adrenaline and noradrenaline, but they also produce DHEA—a hormone the body needs for proper sexual function. Without it, libido begins to drop, penile function decreases, and ejaculation becomes erratic. The constant strain on the body while it’s under the effects of the parasympathetic nervous system also begins to take its toll.
Blood pressure increases, brain chemistry is affected—serotonin levels are severely depleted—and stomach problems can begin to occur. High blood pressure is a trigger for premature ejaculation, due to the fluctuation of blood volume in the penis, and the brain needs serotonin to achieve a proper orgasmic cycle.
Take Back Your Life

All in all, a stressed-out life just isn’t good for sex. You definitely need to take a step back and try some relaxation techniques, at the very least. It’s not easy to divert your mind when it’s running in a constant “worry-cycle”, so I also recommend trying an herbal formula. (TRY: Performance Anxiety & Stress Relief Formula)
There are plenty of helpful herbs that allow the mind to relax, without actually dampening cognition. Good old Licorice is a systemic relaxant, soothing the mind and helping your body to unwind after a long day. Jujube has a calming effect on the mind, without disrupting mental function. So take a break, already, before you hurt yourself!

What to do

Ways to Eliminate Stress & Reduce Performance Anxiety

Stress causes early ejaculation and many erectile dysfunctions by overexciting the sympathetic nerves, produce unhealthy stress hormones, and weakening the parasympathetic nerves controlling the ejaculation valve. Exposure to a long-term stressful...
