i don’t work out, but I haven’t been having success with the penile ballooning technique either. is there some other issue that can interfere with testosterone besides weightlifting? i do smoke marijuana quite a bit, can that have a negative effect on testosterone? i’ve read some articles on this site that talks about how weed is bad for erections, but i’ve not had a problem with those, just with trying to increase the size of my penis.

i’m 27, 6’3 and 180 pounds. i have a crazy fast metabolism, so i like to eat big, protein-rich meals like chicken stir-fry and hamburger helper. i wouldn’t say i’m super healthy, but i stay thin because of my high metabolism. i smoke a couple times a day, or at least once a day, after work. what do you think my problem is? do you think it’s the marijuana, or something else?

It’s not necessary that you stop ALL exercise, but you do need to take a giant step backwards. Your body needs to replenish it’s stores of testosterone and DHT, which means any kind of muscle-building activities are out, but muscle-toning is still an option for you—jogging, yoga, etc. As a matter of fact, the dopamine released by this type of light exercise might ever increase your body’s ability to heal itself, as it counteracts cortisol and restores your levels of epinephrine and norepinephrine.

You won’t begin to see results in your Penile Ballooning practice until you restore your DHT and testosterone levels, so give your penis a rest, too. Rest and relaxation for your body’s tissues and muscles, and light stretching or cardio is what your body needs now. Don’t worry, you won’t lose your hard-earned physique in the meantime. And studies have shown that alternating heavy and light exercise is the best way to maintain weight and muscle tone, so just take it easy.

I, too, work out several times a week, and I’ve been trying to enlarge the size of my penis but with little results. After reading this article, I think I understand why. Could it be that I’ve been using up my stores of growth hormones in growing my muscles instead of in growing my penis? I can’t understand why else my exercises aren’t working, I practice the penile ballooning exercise every day.

I’m 30, 5’10, 160 pounds, and I work out every day in some way, either heavy cardio or weight lifting. Every week I take one “rest day” to allow my muscles to recover, on this day I don’t do my penile exercises either. it seems like I must take a break from my heavy exercise, but do I have to stop all exercise, or can I continue jogging or light lifting? How much is too much, does anyone have any ideas?

I know that cycling can be really damaging to the crotch area. I would stop cycling. Other than that you are just staying healthy. Don't take my word though. Just my opinion.

I have also heard that cycling is very damaging to the men's groin area, his testicles and his penis. This can do a lot of damage. And who knows, that might have been a small part behind testicular cancer in Mr. Armstrong.
