Chronic Bacterial Vaginosis has Caused Intercourse and Valva Pain
Her intake of birth control medication and overuse of a vibrator have caused vaginosis, vulvodynia and excessive vaginal discharge.
Case #: 42480
Concern:
I am a 36 year-old married female with one kid. I am suffering from constant bacterial vaginosis. Visited the doc several time and the problem still not gone. Extremely frustrated, so I have avoided sex for a long period of time allows my body to recover. In replacement of sexual intercourse, I use vibrator very extensively. I stopped using it now because it hurts and feel like the insides of my vagina is stretched tight. My docs think I have vulvadynia because my outer vulva areas feel like chapped and burned.
I had tried various oral contraceptives in the past. I keep switching them because of the bleeding. Various synthetic hormones in them might have ruined my body already.
Discussion:
You have done significant damage to your vulva by masturbating with a vibrator for so long. And yes, your use of birth control can lead to many of the symptoms you are experiencing. It sounds like you have really abused your body, and you're paying a dear price for it now.
Hormone-based birth control emulates a pregnancy state by flooding the brain with excessive progesterone and/or estrogen, so that your brain will think you are pregnant and then shut down your ovarian function. This results in excessive progesterone or estrogen in the uterus and cervix. When the liver fails to detoxify the excessive hormones and to fully support the synthesis of the neurotransmitters dopamine, acetylcholine and serotonin, you may suffer from depression, low libido and orgasmic dysfunction.
If there is excessive estrogen in the bloodstream, the vagina becomes too wet and has no feeling. The labia minors and clitoral foreskin will grow if the tissue is exposed to excessive estrogen for a long time. Breast tissue becomes tender and saggy. If there is excessive progesterone in the bloodstream, the vagina becomes too dry, numb, discharges very heavily, or develops a yeast infection. It may also lead to intercourse and valvar pain, due to a lack of the anti-inflammatory hormone prostaglandin E-1 and excessive amounts of the inflammatory hormone prostaglandin E-2.
As for your vibrator use, erection and relaxation of the clitoris and urethral spongy tissues (G-spot) are essential for a woman to experience sexual pleasure and achieve orgasm. But overuse of a vibrator can cause the clitoris to lose its sensitivity. Overuse of a vibrator can also trigger a chronic elevation of prolactin and dopamine-norepinephrine & epinephrine conversion leading to pituitary-ovarian functional disorders and sexual exhaustion symptoms. In this condition, the arteries become inflamed, constricting blood flow to your vagina and vulva.
Use Vaginal Relief & Detoxification Formula to stabilize your pituitary-ovarian function, detoxify the uterus, cervix and vagina, and boost neuro-immunity to prevent yeast outbreak. Yeastaway Vaginal Suppositories has many homeopathic ingredients to combat infection.
To reduce recurrent yeast infections, supplement with lactobacillus cultures, a type of good bacteria that's common in your vagina. You can also try to douching safely with botanical ingredients.
