Low Sex Drive - Caused by Urinary Tract Infection

Aurinary tract infection (UTI) begins in your urinary system.  UTIs limited to your bladder can be painful, annoying, and ruining your desire to have sex.  But serious consequences can occur if the infection spreads to your kidneys.  Women are most at risk of developing a UTI.  In fact, half of all women will develop a UTI during their lifetimes, and many will experience more than one

You have to think of it as if you haven’t changed the oil in your car. If you go for too long without removing the clogged and old engine oil it will slow down and stop the car and eventually lead to serious damage to the engine. A UTI, much in the same fashion, can clog and prevent the proper flow of urine out of the body. If left untreated it can lead to catastrophic problems for the kidneys.

UTI Can Lead to Kidney Infection

The urinary system is composed of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra.  The kidneys filter waste from your blood.  Ureters are tubes that carry urine from your kidneys to your bladder, where it is stored until it exits the body through the urethra.  An infection of the kidneys may occur after spreading from an infection in the bladder.

Kidney infection can cause:

  • Upper Back & Flank Pain
  • High Fever
  • Shaking Chills
  • Nausea or Vomiting

UTI Can Lead To Bladder Infection

Urinary tract infections most often occur when bacteria enters the urinary tract through the urethra and begins to multiply in the bladder.  Cystitis may occur in women after sexual intercourse or from anal bacteria entering the urethra.

Bladder Infection Can Cause:

  • Pelvic Pressure
  • Lower Abdomen Discomfort
  • Frequent & Painful Urination
  • Strong-Smelling Urine

Prevention

The way a woman wipes after using the toilet is absolutely crucial to preventing Cystitis. A front to back motion is really the only process by which a woman can prevent anal bacteria entering the vagina, making its way into the body, causing infection. Anal sex is another way it can happen, even if using a condom. Performing anal sex requires extra caution because it can create multiple issues and symptoms.

UTI Can Lead To Urethra Infection

In urethritis, the same organisms that infect the kidney and bladder can infect the urethra. In addition, because of the female urethra's proximity to the vagina, sexually transmitted diseases, such as herpes simplex virus and chlamydia, also are possible causes of urethritis.  In men, urethritis often is the result of bacteria acquired through sexual contact.  The majority of such infections are caused by gonorrhea and chlamydia.

Urethra Inflammation Can Cause:

  • Burning with Urination
  • May cause Penile Discharge in men

Protection

An all to familiar family of STD’s that can prevent you from having and enjoying the best possible life available. Sexual protection is an important part of prevention. A urinary infection if often merely a symptom that is associated with a much larger issue. Make sure to be safe when engaging in sexual activity, even if you are knowledgeable about your partner’s sexual history, and think there is nothing to be worried about. Simple little bacteria can sneak their way into your systems wreaking havoc along the way.

Weak Bladder Immunity

Suppression of the urethral or bladder immune system is the main cause of UTI. Usage of drugs and medications such as birth control suppresses the hormones prostaglandin E-1 and E-3 and nitric oxide, leading to abrasions of tissue and nerves along the urethral tract, vaginal canal and cervix.  This results in excess production of the inflammatory hormone prostaglandin E2, which ignites urinary tract infection.

Not to mention that these abrasions can and often do lead to vaginal abrasions. This can be extremely painful during intercourse. Many women suffer from pain during sex and have no idea what is causing it. The fact is it may be years of untreated abrasions caused by multiple UTI’s. No woman wants to feel pain in her vagina while engaging in sexual activity, so why should you have to.

Hormonal Imbalance

Excessive prostaglandin E2 production that leads to UTI can be triggered by a hormonal imbalance, such as excessive progesterone or estrogen, or a lack of androstenedione, testosterone or DHT.  Birth control, drugs, excessive sex, or over-ejaculation can elevate epinephrine, cortisol, and prostaglandin E2 to prolong UTI.  Antibiotic treatment of the chronic UTI can cause further problems by strengthening the resistance of bacteria and damaging liver function.

This is the key reason why so women have turned to all natural herbal supplements to treat urinary infections, as well as many other forms of infection and problems. The body has a much more difficult time building up resistances to herbs as opposed to antibiotics. Which means that you really do not have to worry about a decrease in effectiveness or potency because your body can’t refuse their help.

Natural Solutions

Early stage of UTI can simply take cranberry and antibacterial remedy to eliminate and prevent bacterial growth. Cranberry Remedy with Hisbiscus formula has both highly concentrated cranberry polyphenols and flavonoids. According to research from Burgundy of French laboratory, natural cranberry with hisbiscus achieves 77% reduction of urinary infection (in vivo study, double blind vs placebo).

Ultra Cranberry Magic Remedy with Hisbiscus and Sambubiosides is the solution for chronic UTI that can power the neuron-immune system, eliminate bacteria, prevent bacterial growth, increasing prostaglandin E1 and nitric oxide, suppressing prostaglandin E2, epinephrine and cortisol, balancing sex hormones, and detoxifying the liver, kidneys and bladder.  Taking 5-HTP can increase serotonin and GABA production and stimulate the pineal gland to release melatonin for healing.
