How Stress and Anxiety Leads to Male Menopause
Menopause is a phase women experience because of hormonal changes. Male menopause occurs for the same reasons: as the body ages, hormone levels change. Once testosterone levels dip below normal, men can experience weak erections, mood swings, fatigue and even impotence.
 
The medical community remains divided over accepting the possibility males experience menopause. The main reason for this divide is that people tend to find common ground for a condition to be defined as menopause. But the male body is different and the way it changes throughout years is also different.
 
Male Menopause Symptoms
Male menopause has been characterized by loss of libido and potency, nervousness, fatigue and insomnia. The problem with these symptoms is that they are generally termed as periodic episodes. Research in recent years has clearly found links between the hormonal levels in the male body and the symptoms of menopause.
 
The main hormone found to be responsible is testosterone and the fluctuation in the levels of testosterone leads to the presence of the symptoms discussed above. One of the important things to notice here is that even though testosterone is identified as the main hormone, the entire human body is made up of interdependent systems.

The hormones in the body are secreted by glands and are carried around the body to various organs by the circulatory system. 
 
Importance of Endocrine System
Studies have shown that the endocrine system is the main channel through which the body prepares the individual to deal with situations that cause stress. Under stressful conditions, various hormones like CRH, cortisol, catecholamines and thyroid hormones get released.

While these hormones are necessary for an individual to deal with a stressful situation, too much of these hormones place stress on the every part of the body. Stress and anxiety trigger the endocrine system to produce more hormones that damage the body. 
 

Over the years, these repeated stimulation to the endocrine system taxes the various glands that produces the hormones, the organs of the body, the muscular and the nervous system. Repetitive stress and anxiety makes the body secrete these hormones regularly and over a longer period of time the capacity of each gland is reduced, leading to lower levels of hormones in the body when required.

This reduction in hormones is characterized by the symptoms that have been widely accepted nowadays as male menopause. While there are many reasons that lead to male menopause like genetic predisposition, nutrition etc, it can be easily understood that the most common factors behind male menopause is stress and anxiety, issues easily fixed with all-natural solutions to reduce stress and restore mental exhaustion.
