Hair Loss – The Medication and Masturbation Correlation
Every guy dreads the prospect of hair loss. At first you think it's your imagination, but before long, you notice thinning patches. Once the hairline recedes, you just can't live in denial about it. Transplants cost a fortune, and that Yankees baseball cap isn't fooling anyone.

And if the floor of your shower is starting to resemble a shag carpet, you're probably asking yourself, “What's going on here?” Maybe you've heard that certain medications can contribute to male pattern baldness. Well that's absolutely true, but that's only one of many possible issues. Maybe you didn't know that chronic masturbation can also contribute to premature baldness. Before you shake your head in disbelief, read on.
Is My Medication Making Me Bald?
A number of medications have been linked to hair loss. As New York Times Health has noted, these medications include retinoids, beta-blockers, antidepressants (SSRIs in particular), NSAIDs (including iburpofen) and calcium-channel blockers.

Then of course, there are a wealth of other causes, like emotional stress, anemia, raising children and driving on the 405 freeway during rush hour. But if you're not taking any of the aforementioned drugs, and you basically have a clean bill of health, we may have narrowed down our primary cause. It's time to take a good look at the culprit between your legs.
Masturbation – Too Much of a Good Thing
As the New York Times also notes, hormone changes are one of the prime causes of hair loss. Unfortunately, chronic masturbation will deplete and alter your hormone levels faster than anything else.

When you constantly chase the mighty orgasm, your body loses essential neurochemicals like testosterone, DHEA and HGH. In exchange, your body begins to overproduce inflammatory hormones like prolactin, cortisol and dihydrotestosterone (DHT). You're basically stroking your way to thinner hair, but hey, at least the nymphomaniacs on your computer screen don't care what you look like.
But let's talk for a moment about DHT, the last of the inflammatory hormones that I just mentioned. It's important to understand how this one works, because in order to solve your problem, we need to reverse the damage that the DHT is causing. When you masturbate frequently, testosterone converts to DHT at a dangerous pace. DHT is a prime contributor to male pattern baldness because it causes the hair follicles to miniaturize, which result in a shorter lifespan and abnormal growth. In short, DHT is the worst nightmare of glam metal bands everywhere.
I Want My Hair Back
Fortunately, there are things that you can do to halt hair loss in its tracks and even to stimulate new growth, and I'm not talking about going under the knife. If you're taking any drugs or medications that may contribute to the problem, talk to your doctor at once.

Continuing to take them may only exacerbate the problem further. Second (and this is the part you're dreading), you need to cut back on the masturbation.
Finally, scientists have discovered hair-stimulating properties in several common herbs. Ashwagandha stops the thinning of hair from over-masturbation, while Cuscuta blocks the DHT-testosterone conversion. Furthermore, herbs like Ginkgo work to stimulate new hair growth.

Consider an herbal remedy (seeBotanical Formula For Problematic Hair Loss) that contains some combination of these and similar herbs, and you should start to notice an improvement in very little time. Then again, you could always just purchase a Star Trek uniform and attend Trekkie festivals as Captain Picard, but that's entirely up to you.
