Dribbling with early release - Is my BPH problem the culprit behind premature ejaculation?

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, also known as Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy, is a non-cancerous growth of the prostate. Unlike prostatitis, BPH tends to keep the prostate enlarged indefinitely without contractions. The indefinite enlargement is still unknown, but scientist speculate that the endocrine system plays a role, most frequently effecting men ages 45-55.

During the 40 and 50 ages, the male body sees a shift in testosterone, permitting testosterone deposits to form in the prostate or become converted into DHT. Other abnormalities of the body, such as hyperthyroidism, which affects the endocrine system, may have a direct correlation to the expansion of the prostate as well as the onset of premature ejaculation.

Because of the prostate’s position at the junction of both the urethra and seminal vesicles, BPH can interfere with urination and sexual functioning just as prostatitis does. BPH afflicts 1 out of 5 men in their 40s, 1 in 4 men by age 55, 1 in 2 by age 75, and 4 out of 5 men over the age of 80.

In concern to premature ejaculation, the enlarged prostate affects ejaculation control in the same manner as prostatitis: stimulation of the prostate is heightened. There are herbal remedies that can help delay ejaculation for men with enlarged prostate. Problems can get worse and in some extreme cases, because of anal stimulation spontaneous ejaculation can happened while defecating or making the prostate extremely sensitive and painful to the touch.
