Too Long in the Queue: She’s Waited Six Months to Clear Her Vaginal Infection and Needs Relief Now

After taking numerous antibiotics, suppositories and creams, she’s desperate to relieve her yeast infection of six months. She’s plagued by itching and a general sense of discomfort that an herbal remedy can quickly and effectively clear.
Case #:1575

I really hope I can find some help here, since my doctor doesn’t know how to help me. I’ve had a yeast infection that has lasted more than six months. The last prescription my doctor had me on was some fort of acid suppository. It made the infection go away for a short while, but the itchiness is still there. I have tried everything from pills to creams, and it won’t go away. Is this in any way normal? I am hoping you can shine some light on my problems.

Antibiotics are great for curing any number of ailments. They are not, however, beneficial for yeast infections because they kill both the good and bad flora inside the body. This sounds like an oxymoron, but it’s true. And without the good bacteria standing guard to minimize the bad, your yeast infection is sure to continue indefinitely.
What is a Yeast Infection?

Colonies of various bacteria reside in the vagina. We don’t say this to scare you, but rather so you understand what’s living inside your body. The colonies are of different species and can be separated into healthy and unhealthy. That is, some of the flora yield benefits to the vagina and some do not.
Under normal circumstances, the healthy bacteria outnumber those that are unhealthy. This is important to prevent the rise of vaginal infections. But a variety of activities – including sexual intercourse, douching, menstruation, and long-term prescription drug use – can offset the delicate balance of flora. In other words, unhealthy bacteria can grow until they overpower the healthy. This is when infection sets in and pain-inducing symptoms begin.
A yeast infection is when colonies of yeast reproduce and grow throughout the vagina. Normally these yeast live in minute and manageable numbers. But the activities listed above as well as high-sugar diets, wearing tight pants and even swimming in a public pool can cause yeast to grow rapidly and uncontrollably. One of the biggest misconceptions about these infections is they afflict only women with poor hygiene habits. That simply isn’t true – yeast infections target even the cleanest of bodies and are especially numerous in women with low immunity.
The Difference between Yeast Infections and Vaginitis

Vaginitis is a general term used to describe vaginal irritation. Planned Parenthood explains that almost every woman experiences vaginitis at some point in her lifetime. Symptoms include unusual discharge, burning, itching and increased urge to urinate.
A yeast infection is one cause of vaginitis. A woman may therefore have the former but not the latter – additional causes of vaginitis include bacterial vaginosis, allergic reactions to detergents or other feminine products and low levels of estrogen. The cause of vaginosis will determine the best course of treatment.
Conventional Treatments versus Herbal Remedies

When speaking of treatments for yeast infections, it must be noted that topical ointments and creams work only to relieve symptoms. They do not travel deeper to the real and underlying causes, which we’ve already explained are numerous and often hard to pinpoint. For instance, having sex with a partner who smokes can give you a yeast infection, but you likely wouldn’t know that without having this information at your fingertips.
The nature of yeast also means it can become resistant to creams and antibiotics. Researchers at Michigan State University estimate that between 25 and 30 percent of all yeast strains are now impervious to drugstore remedies. This means herbs are the best option available to you.
Of particular benefit to you is a vaginal infection relief formula blended to soothe, heal and improve immune defense. (SEE: Natural Herbal Formula for Vaginal Infection Relief) With ingredients like Calendula and Safflower, it also detoxifies residue build-up caused by antibiotics and other toxins. This will allow your vaginal environment to return to a state of health, and your symptoms and infection will clear so you’re no longer plagued with recurring problems.

What to do

Vaginal Infection Relief & Detoxification Formula

Antibiotics and birth control pills can alter the balance of the ‘friendly’ micro flora that subsists in the vagina. Pathogens from these drugs can result in yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis, with symptoms ranging from abnormal discharge,...
