CO2 Lasers Are Pure Gold(finger) For Penile Papule Removal
Okay, go ahead and say it.

Get it out of your system.

Give me your best debonair James Bond voice: “Do you expect me to talk?”

I'll even give you the response: “No, Mister Bond, I expect you to die!”

It's a perfectly understandable reaction for any guy who signs up for penis papule treatment by means of having them removed with a laser, even if that iconic scene is the only part of Goldfinger they've ever watched. It's probably the first thing a lot of guys say when they're first settled onto the operating table... and the specialists performing the procedure has probably heard it at least a thousand times already, so he or she may well take it as a personal favor if you manage to restrain yourself.

Now that that's out of the way, let's go over what the procedure actually does and why CO2 laser treatment is so highly recommended for dealing with papules.

What Are They?
Unfortunately, science still hasn't figured out precisely what they are, or what triggers them. So far, the only verifiable scientific data available indicates that they are not sexually-transmitted diseases, and that they appear on 8-48% of males in every population on the planet. The current theory is that they're evolutionary remnants from our very primitive ancestors; certain other animals in the biological order “Primates” have full-fledged spines sticking out of their erections. The fact that the ladies have their own version, called hirsuties papillaris vulvae, also gives this argument some weight. Structurally, they seem to be little more than skin-tags.

What Is The Treatment Like?
CO2 laser treatment usually involves a quick disinfecting wash, followed by a topical anaesthetic applied to the papules, and allowed to sink in for about an hour. Once that's done, the specialist will apply the laser to each of the papules in turn. The laser will evaporate the papule tissue and cauterize the blood vessels supplying them. These bad boys aren't coming back.

The rest of the staff, as well as the specialist, will probably have already offered all the reassurances you'll need, so I can't really add anything new except to say that no, it won't hurt while it's happening, and no, they won't miss and take off anything more than they should.

A common safety element is eye-protection. Even if the laser goes nowhere near your eyes, you'd be very smart to wear the eye-shields. It will mean that you won't be able to read or watch a movie during the procedure, but you might still be able to listen to an audiobook or your personal music device. There's no way to tell how long the procedure will last, because that's based on how many papules you have. But in all likelihood it won't take more than half an hour or so.

Afterward
You're going to feel a little discomfort while your skin finishes healing. You just had a frickin' laser shining on it, after all, deliberately taking small portions of your flesh and vaporizing them. And by doctor's order's you should probably not have sex (even with a condom), or masturbate for at least a week, possibly two. Now would be an excellent time to look into those self-improvement projects you've been meaning to look into, if only you weren't so busy having sex. Learn to cook healthy meals for yourself and your lover; you'll save money (since you must have spent between $1,000 and $3,000 for the procedure, that's probably a very good idea) and find new ways to be romantic. Work off some of that energy by starting a workout routine, or intensifying it if you already have one. And, as your lover might remind you, you might also work on your skills with your fingers and your tongue, as long as you don't mind not participating.

The papules are gone, but you should still check back in for any recurrences. Best of luck!
