Turn Off The T.V. In Your Bedroom

The average American spends 35 hours a week watching television. The average married couple spends 20 minutes a week being intimate. The two statistics seem unrelated, but according to studies, television, when situated in the bedroom, encourages distractions, poor sleep cycles and depleted sex habits. Yup, the good ol’ television ruins your sex life. Throw in a few kids, work-related stress and responsibilities, and the television will warrant more quality time than your partner.

Keep Television Out of The Bedroom

Removing the television in the bedroom eliminates the temptation to turn the television on. Your removal of the television screen too improves the following:

Encourages Communication: You and your partner will use the bedroom as a sanctuary to communicate. Your improved communication will further your bond and improve your sex drive. Without the television in the bedroom, you need not worry about temptation or distractions from impeding your quality time.

Improves Sex: Keep a television in your room and you’ll notice you’ll have sex half as much as before. If you’re not having sex as it is, you’ll notice your sex drive will be much higher without the television screen hovering over your bed. Your mediocre sex life can take a transformation for the best.

Better Sleep Patterns: Television can stymie your sleep patterns, and with a ruined sleep cycle, individuals can desire sleep over sex. Without the television damaging your sleep, you’ll find yourself more refreshed and willing for sex.
