Female Orgasm Difficulty - Caused by Intercourse Pain

Many women feel that pain is a natural part of intercourse, so they have no idea what is causing their discomfort or what do about it. Sexual intercourse is supposed to be a pleasurable encounter between two people.  But for many women, sex can be painful and unpleasant, leading to intimacy problems and a general lack of sexual fulfillment.

Many women experience painful intercourse, or dyspareunia, at some point in their lives for a variety of reasons. But the location of pain and frequency of pain varies greatly. If left untreated, the causes of sexual pains can become more serious resulting it vaginal abrasions and other extremely painful symptoms.

The locations of the pain during intercourse are different between women; most common pains are vaginal spasms and stinging pain at the entry of vagina. Other pains reported are:

  • Pain deep inside the vagina
  • Sharp stinging pains at the entry of their vagina
  • Clitoris pain
  • Vaginal spams & pain
  • Uterus pain

The fact is that wherever you are feeling pain it is most assuredly all connected by the similar causes.
Dyspareunia may be experienced as pain with every penetration, even while putting in a tampon, pain with certain partners or just under certain circumstances, new pain after previously pain-free intercourse, superficial entry pain, deep pain during thrusting, burning pain or aching pain.

There are numerous causes of intercourse pain, including inadequate lubrication, injury, trauma, irritation, inflammation, infection, a tipped uterus, skin disorders, reactions to birth control products, vaginismus, vestibulitis, or even psychological problems.
Because of the wide variety of possible causes it’s also recommended that you see our doctor to get another opinion. When you have a lot to ponder it can be refreshing because it forces you to be specifically attentive to our problems. It makes you pinpoint exactly what the problem is and where the pain is located. Anything that makes you pay closer attention to what’s harming you is a good thing; whatever makes you ask questions and seek out answers is positive. Even if you hit several brick walls along the way, at least you’ll no that those were the wrong problems and you won’t have to revisit those as viable possibilities. The process of elimination is a crucial aspect of combating health issues, especially undiagnosed ones. The more you learn, the more you fail, and the more you eventually know.
