Holy Papules, Batman! – Getting Rid of the Dreaded Penis Papules

Those might not be genital warts between your legs. You might, in fact, have penis papules. Learn what they are, and find out what you can do about them.

Case #: 1578

Concern:

I am only 18 years old and I have been masturbating since I was 10 years old and I have also been over ejaculating. I am really desperately trying to stop my habit. I am a virgin and I have a soft erection that curves to the right which usually doesn't last long when I am using my hand. I have a normal size you can say, 5 inches long and I am only 5 feet 7 inches and about 150 pounds, so I am healthy. I have pearly white papules all around the circumference of my penis head, what are these things. I think out of all the problems this is the one I care most about, it bothers me the most and I think when it comes time to have sex my partner will be freaked out. Any idea how to get rid of these papules? It will make my life a lot easier and it will take the stress out of having sex for the first time without being too worried about what my partner would think about my penis.

Discussion:

Your symptoms are not surprising for someone who masturbates frequently, but you're still young, and your body is resilient, so I believe that we can get these problems under control. Most of your symptoms are easily explained as the results of sexual exhaustion: tissue scarring inhibits the blood flow to your penis and causes your penis to curve (Peyronie's Disease); hormone imbalance causes your prostate to become inflamed and leads to premature ejaculation; plaque buildup causes your erections to become soft. You have quite the Macy's Day Parade going on in your pants.

And Then There are the White Papules

The emerge of white dots on your penis can signify one of two things: First, genital warts. But if you're a virgin, there is absolutely no chance that you have contracted this condition – unless, of course, your right hand likes to sneak off to the docks while you're asleep. The second possible scenario: penile papules, the dreaded hirsuties coronae glandis. Unfortunately, the cause of this condition is much more difficult to pinpoint, but it's also highly treatable.

Step 1: Go Easy on the Masturbation

Look, I know masturbation is fun. I do it. My neighbor does it. I'm sure the church pastor down the street does it. But if do it like there's no tomorrow, you're going to face physical and physiological consequences. If you just take a break for a couple of months, and then limit your sessions to a few times a week, you should be able to reverse many of your symptoms in no time flat. I mean, how many problems in life can you solve by simply doing nothing?

Step 2: Treat Those Papules

Celibacy alone probably won't remedy the great white scourge hanging between your legs, so I'm going to recommend a tea tree oil solution and a castor oil solution. Tea tree oil contains anti-microbial properties that have shown positive results in eliminating an array of skin conditions, from eczema to ringworm to penis papules. Castor oil is a natural anti-fungal agent that likewise fights the bacteria. Give the solutions a bit of time to work, and always make sure to use clean hands when applying them. Most importantly, while rubbing these ingredients on your penis, just try not to enjoy it too much. Otherwise we might be right back to square 1.
