PC Muscle Exercises vs. Kegel Exercises

He wants to know which exercise—Kegel or PC—is best for producing a thicker ejaculation and enhancing the sexual experience.

Case #: 29058

Concern:

I am curious as to whether PC and Kegel exercises are good for you? Do any come with side effects? If so what? Why should I perform either?

Discussion:

PC and Kegel exercises are the same. The PC muscles, known as the pelvic floor muscles, are found in both men and women. By contracting these muscles, men can strengthen their ability to perform longer in bed. How do you contract these muscles? It’s similar to urinating. When you pee, you may have held off your urine stream. When stopping midstream, you contract the PC muscles. The repetitive contraction of these muscles strengthens them to provide better ejaculation control. Because Kegel exercises strengthen the PC muscles, it contains no known side effects.
