A problem
sometimes associated with premature ejaculation (as if being premature
wasn’t enough) is having a weak erection. The penis might
be raised by sexual arousal, but may not be able to maintain a strong,
fully hard form for long periods of time, if at all. You may not
have noticed this trouble during sex, especially if you’re
more concerned about your problem of coming too early. It’s
usually more detectable during masturbation when anxiety isn’t
as much a factor and you are better able to gauge the firmness.
There are several reasons for a weak erection or ejaculating too
soon. But if you exhibit both problems together, it is usually because
of another cause – sexual exhaustion. Excessive sexual practices
– whether from masturbation, sex, or both – can leave
the body tired and lacking in the nutrients and hormones needed
to perform at its peak levels.
When talking about weak erections, you may also hear the term “Youth
Impotence” mentioned. This is usually associated with younger
men and teens that over-masturbate due to their increased hormones.
Along with a weak erection, boys experiencing youth impotence may
be easily fatigued, feel pain around the groin area, have the inability
to have an erection without physical stimulation, and of course,
develop premature ejaculation (PE), just to name a few symptoms.
A weak erection may be a precursor to premature ejaculation, just
as PE may result in the misfortune of soft and weak erections. Though
this may be a minor concern for you now, these two symptoms can
ultimately lead to impotence. Coming early and having a soft erection
are just warning signs to this more severe problem
You
Need to Flow to Grow
If a weak erection is more your problem than premature ejaculation,
then an insufficient blood flow might be due to more than just a
poor parasympathetic nerve reaction. Poor blood circulation can
stem from a variety of factors. Notably, smoking and a high fat
diet contribute to a reduction of blood flow. Most of the time,
this degraded level of blood is not only harmful for a person’s
sex life, but also detrimental to his or her life in general. A
change of diet and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can greatly increase
your body’s blood flow to your member.
Weak erections caused by atherosclerosis, which is the hardening
of the arteries due to fatty deposits, thicken the arteries and
make blood flow highly difficult due to the constricted passages
and lower elasticity. Far worse than just a weak erection, this
condition may also lead to a stroke. Atherosclerosis is seldom seen
in young males, but can occur at any age in individuals with diabetes
or other chronic medical conditions, as well as a poor diet.
Another reason why there may be inadequate blood flow is through
venous leaking. This is when you have damaged the veins within your
penis. There aren’t too many instances where you damage the
penis, but sometimes it can be so severe an injury that you spring
a leak in your penile vein.
Stop
Making it Worse!
Perhaps the most common way a weak erection or youth impotence
can further complicate premature ejaculation is through a physical
reaction to the soft penis. A man suffering from weak erections
may attempt to aid his softened penis by contracting his pubococcygeus
(PC) muscles. The PC muscles are the same muscles you use to stop
urine flow. When a man uses the PC muscles, he adds pressure and
stress to the prostate gland. This increased strain on the prostate
will mimic orgasmic contractions and will force pre-come down the
shaft to lubricate the urethra for the intended orgasm.
Another way a person can develop a weak erection is through performance
anxiety. A weak erection could manifest itself if you’re currently
experiencing problems with climaxing too early. Not being hard enough
to provide adequate stimulation to a sexual partner, yet not soft
enough to stop you from trying, can be frustrating to both you and
your mate. Not to mention the unbelievable damage it can have on
self-esteem and confidence. This is a head game in every sense of
the phrase.
Many males also develop weak erections from drugs. Legal pharmaceutical
drugs, such as depression medication, usually have weak erections
as a side effect. It’s the same with illegal drugs. Marijuana
smoking can cause weak erections and even impotence. And that is
just scratching the surface of the many side effects that illegal
drugs can cause. In both cases, herbal treatment would help detoxify
and replenish the penis, but it is highly recommended that you see
a physician before discontinuing any medication you are currently
taking.
