Bruised Penis, Dull Burning Sensation

Bruised Penis, Dull Burning Sensation
A couple nights ago I had a mishap while masturbating. I was drunk, so I wasn't full erect but good enough to get the job done. I pushed down too hard and my grip was to tight, causing my penis to bend forward in the middle and at the base. It didn't hurt too bad and I kept going and finished just fine and went to sleep. The next morning I noticed a slight burning sensation in my penis. Also there is a horrizontal bruise in the middle of my shaft. The top part of my shaft  from the bruise down to the base is slightly swollen. My flacid state appears to be smaller than usual. It's sensitive to the touch and hurts slightly without aggravation. This has happened before during sex with my ex girlfriend. I had as similiar bruise the next day and same kind of burning sensation, but it wasn't as bad and went away after a day or so. I still get morning wood and it seems to be working, though it hurts to bad to manually try and achieve an erection. I'm very concerned, my penis is my most prized posession! I've been searching the web frantically trying to self diagnose because I'm too embarresed to go to a doctor. I'm hoping that it's just some ruptured blood vessels. Has anyone else had this happen? What do you think is going on here?
Suspensory Ligament Strain?
A little more information. Coming up on day three after the accident. Yesterday, I had a hard flacid turtle for most of the day, but today it is back to normal. It is still sore, and the burning sensation is still there, but it's turning into an itching kind of feeling. It's not as sensitive to touch as it was yesterday. The bruising is almost gone, (it was very minor to begin with). There was no blood or anything after the injury, no popping or cracking sounds, and I didn't know anything was wrong until the next morning. Although, I couldn't feel as well since I was drunk. This morning I hit my snooze alarm a bunch of times, and almost everytime I awoke I had morning wood. One was weak, and was more weak at the bass than normal. It flopped to the side which it has never done before. Afterwards, I awoke with a very strong erection, which stood at attention horizantal to the floor. This is good news, but I'm still concerned.  I'm suspecting that I strained my suspensory ligament. Does this sound about right? I'm probably overreacting, and self diagnosing is just adding to the anxiety. Please, does anyone have any suggestions/treatments/similiar stories? At this point, the psychological aspect of possibly damaging my penis is causing me the most grief, and I could really use  some reassurance that I will be fine. I'm 22 years old, and I will be sick if I mangled my penis for life. Please help!

You appear to have multiple
You appear to have multiple problems—bruising and pain caused by over masturbation. You mention that you may have ruptured your blood vessel damage, but you do manage to gain a healthy morning erection. Damaged blood vessels usually cause impotence. Instead, your problem may be related to tissue damage—particularly to the foreskin and base of your penis. You want to refrain from masturbating for a few weeks. Next, read our guide about over masturbation injuries. Now, please note your accident was not caused by excessive masturbation, but by one isolated incident (similar to a dangerous sex position where you bent your penis and caused bruising and pain). Next, you may want to purchase all-natural supplements that help heal the soft tissue of both the foreskin and penis.

Take a look at Penile Pain & Nerve Rejuvenation Remedy and Penis Trauma & Injury Herbal Treatment for more information of helpful solutions. Both solutions may help reduce the pain associated with your erections and reduce the bruising surrounding your injuries. Relax and think positive.
Good luck! Stay healthy my friend.
I don't think that the
I don't think that the problem you are experiencing has anything to do with your suspensory ligament because that damage is usually done by penis enlargement injuries. I do however believe that your problem may have something to do with damage to the Penile Blood Vessels. The pain is most likely due to this and you really need to take care of it even if it seems to be healing on it's own. It will need that extra boost. If you want to read this article and make sure that the problem is with read, Penis Pain & Injury - Caused by Penile Blood Vessel Damage. If it is the problem then you need to take further action and go along with the solution and remedy that is included in the bottom. In this case the remedy is Penile Pain & Nerve Rejuvenation Remedy. If that is also still your problem then I really suggest you take the herbal supplement of Kanabo Repair Xtreme to help further aid the recovery from the damages done to the penis.
Good luck! Stay healthy my friend.
Thanks!
Hey man, thanks for the information. Also, just noticed my username was that gut, it was supposed to be that guy.. not important. Anyways, I was pretty freaked out there for a while, and self diagnosing over the internet was making it worse. You made me feel much better, it seems like you know what you're talking about. It's been almost two weeks since this happened, and it's clear to me that it's not the suspensory ligament, that's not even sore anymore. It's still quite sore to the touch in the middle and at the base where it was bent. The bruising never changed colors, it was very mild to begin with. It's just slightly more red from the middle down to the base, with a slightly darker redish purple line in the middle. Everything is working fine, full feeling, no problem getting erections. Definitely an improvement, but it still hurts a lot. I've kind of been prodding at it daily to see if it's doing better (probably too much). It tingles after I poke at it and mess with it so I will definitely stop checking in on it for a while, I'm probably making it worse. Is that normal for it to tingle like that? It's not painful or numbing, just kind of an annoying tingle. It seems to get worse the more I pay attention to it. The burning has gone down noticebably, it only burns a little when I urinate. How long does it take for something like this to fully heal? I put ice on it a few times the first couple days after it happened, and I've been applying heat when I can. Should I take ibuprofen? I have a very labor intensive job, so it kind of flops around a lot while I'm working which might make it take longer to heal.

John Doe

Lmao. That gut. It's just a
Lmao. That gut. It's just a typo but a pretty cool name. I am glad that I made you feel better. That's what i'm here for, to help. It sounds like it is just bruising, all the different colors you mentioned that your penis is changing to and I think within time those colors will go away. If they don't start going away within a week let me know and I will see what information I can find for you. I am glad you are at least getting an erection but pain? That isn't normal to still be getting pain that far after the incident. It is best if you just stop checking it daily and maybe every other day that way you will see the results instead of checking it every day. The burning you mentioned, I am scared that might be something to do with your prostate. Maybe it started enlarging a little bit because you are not supposed to get a burning sensation when peeing. Ice won't really help because what is going on is internal. I never recommend anything that is over the counter or prescribed. They have a lot of side effects and they are never really good. I would suggest you start taking herbal products. Although herbal products might take longer to work because they work slower and require patience, they work without side effects. You can take it and not have to worry about any problems getting worse or new problems happening. So my suggestions would be start taking herbal remedies. You just have to make sure you take it as it says in the bottle and make sure you finish the entire bottle or else it won't be effective. Works sort of like antibiotics. I am going to suggest two products. The first product would be for your pain to the penis, such as when you are poking at it or prodding at it. For that pain I would really suggest you start with Kanabo Repair Xtreme. That will help any pain go away. If you want wait a few more days and if the pain isn't gone then start taking it. Now for that burning feeling you get when you are peeing, what would work great for that would be Prosta Juven. If you do have a problem with your prostate, which is almost always the reason behind the burning pee then taking care of your prostate enlargment will help. Those two will help you repair those problems and recover from your injury because it doesn't sound like you have recovered as much as your body should have and it's been two week already.

Yeah, the fact that it's
Yeah, the fact that it's taking so long to heal is starting to concern me. It has gotten much better though, there is definitely improvement but it's taking a while. I went to see the doctor a couple days after it happened, and he wasn't too worried about it. It wasn't really even bruised, and it still isn't.. it's just a little more red than the rest of it. The soreness seems to be moving down my penis, first it was the worst at the base and now it's worse towards the middle. Also, it's more sore flaccid than when erect. It only hurts when I touch it or push on it; it doesn't hurt just sitting here.  What's the worst thing that could have happened here? I assume it's not nerve damage, since I have no loss of sensitivity. And It's not as serious as a penis fracture, given that there was hardly any bruising, no blood, and I have no problem with erections. Not a suspensory ligament, it still stands up fine. I don't think it's burst blood vessels; that would probably cause more bruising. If it's not better by next week, then I will go see a urologist. Thanks again, for taking the time to answer my questions. I really appreciate it.

John Doe

Glad to help. Sounds like you
Glad to help. Sounds like you are having a recovery so you shouldn't worry too much. Also just so you know, penis fractures are mostly internally so there won't be signs of the fracture such as blood, maybe bruising. You seem to be recovering so just keep at it.

I am recovering, but slowly, so I will look into those supplements in order to speed up the process. I'm trying to take my mind off this, but it's nearly impossible. The stress and anxiety is really taking a toll on me, I need this to go away as quickly as possible. Do they actually work? Have you used them?

John Doe

Don't let stress or anxiety
Don't let stress or anxiety take a toll on you. That is one of the main reasons for people having problems with weak erections. I wouldn't want you to have problems with that now. Just take it easy and relax. These herbal remedies do actually work if you are willing to commit. They take longer than prescription drugs to work but do not have any of the side effects. I have not used these but I have helped other people who have taken them regarding similar issues like yours.

Good luck! Stay healthy my friend.

Thanks man, yeah I definitely don't want this to persist as a mental thing after it heals. Once it stops hurting, and looks normal again I won't have a problem.  I've been doing a little research into different vitamins and things that should help, and will be a little cheaper. I'm kind of low on money at the moment, which is why I haven't been to the urologist.

You have been doing some great research. If you keep a healthy body and lifestyle you will have a really healthy sex life. You already know what to do. I don't really need to tell you much more. Hey man, unfortunately it's
Hey man, unfortunately it's me again. So I finally went to the urologist two weeks ago to put my mind at ease. I had two of them examine me and they said that they couldn't feel any breaks in the tissue anywhere, and that it is probably just strained. They couldn't even give me a time period on how long it would take to heal, but they said if it isn't better in a month come see them. I was taking L-Arganine, L-Carnative, Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin C, and I was putting a Vitamin-E oil on it twice a day. This seemed to be helping, and it was gettting much better; that is until a couple days ago. I was almost pain free, and it was only slightly uncorfortable to apply pressure to it. Now, it has been aching and it's quite sore to the touch again. Some of the weird tingling/itching/burning sensations are coming back, only not as bad. The tip is even a little bit sore now, which is new. I have been pretty active the past couple of days, and while working I had a ladder pushing up against it for a good amount of time. I'm willing to bet that my problems are coming from this, but I'm not sure. This set back is extremely discouraging and concerning to me. I'm hoping that I didn't cause even more damage. I have masturbated a few times, very very gently but this didn't seem to make things any worse. This Friday, it will be six weeks since this happened and I thought that this nightmare would be over by now. When you helped other people out with similar issues, do you remember how long the recovery time was?

John Doe

Well the problem is that I
Well the problem is that I can't really give you an accurate time on how fast they recovered because they used herbal treatments. The thing with herbal treatments is that every individual reacts differently to them and the recovery times do so as well. The reason they chose herbal treatments however was because there were no side effects that came from them. I see this as a huge plus and I can't really give you an answer as to how long it took because they were all different. Herbal treatments may take longer than prescription drugs and such but will give you better results with no side effects.
Good luck! Stay healthy my friend.
I may have to look into some
I may have to look into some herbal treatments, although I have not experienced any side effects (yet) from what I have been taking. I'll just keep truckin along I guess, and hopefully it heals soon. And maybe I'll start bubble wrapping my junk from now on ha. I don't want any more setbacks! I've lost probably three weeks of progress by having it mashed into a ladder. Extrememly discouraging.. Thanks for gettting back to me so quick.

John Doe

Of course, no problem man. I

Herbal treatments work great!
Herbal treatments work great! I have tried them myself and everyone who I recommend them to thank me as soon as they are done taking care of their issues. Take care of your penis, that is man's most important part. I know you want to be able to enjoy sex and such.
It is my pleasure being able to help you

Indeed, the penis is very important! I wouldn't feel like a man without it. I'm going to try some herbal treatments when I have more money, if this doesn't get better. What did you use them for? If you don't mind me asking. I just want to know if anyone has had something similiar happen, and how long it took to heal. I'm at two months, and the pain is really getting old. Thanks in advance!

Worried because of penis injury
Hello guys. I had long session of masturbation and penis excercise. during masturbation I was forcing the erection to ejaculate but suddenly my penis snapped back to my body and lost my erection completly within a second. After that i felt some pain in penis and numbness in the penis and in area between anus and testicles. my penis has shrink and become liveless. erection become harder to achieve its been 4 months now the pain has improved and numbness improved by 50%. my pelvic muscle feels liveless. has anyone had this problem please advice me wat to do i am feeling depressed and my anxiety has increased. please please advice

Ayman

Masturbating excessively can
Masturbating excessively can be a very bad thing. Like you have already experienced, a fracture to the penis. thatgut is right. You most likely suffered a fracture. Fractures can cause even more serious problems if not treated right away. The longer you let it go untreated the worse it will get.  Now you said that your problem has been healing. I think the only way to get rid of that depression and anxiety is to get you back up and running. Let's take care of that fracture and also get your penis back to the size it was and all the feeling it came with.  For your problems I really suggest you take Kanabo Extense. This will help get your size back to normal and also hopefully liven you up. Get rid of the negative energy. This should help you get some sensation back to your penis but if you are dissatisfied with that than I really suggest you try taking Kanabo Rejuvenation. This will help you get back all those great sexual feeling. Now the last thing I am going to suggest, Reverse V Hook For Shrinking Penis. This is an excercise and I know your first problem was caused by that. I suggest you do this one because it works together with Kanabo Extense to make the penis bigger. Just be very careful and make sure you understand what to do before you decide to try it.

I hope all my information helps you on your road to recovery.

Hey Ayman, sorry to hear
Hey Ayman, sorry to hear about your injury. I know how you feel, it's very depressing and worrisome when your little man is on the sidelines. Did you go to a doctor after this happened? Have you been to a urologist since then? Not to alarm you, but the penis snapping and deflating instantly sounds like a penile fracture. If that was the case, you should have gone to the doc immediately so they could perform surgery before scar tissue develops. Just google some penile fracture pictures, and you will know if that's what you did. Did it swell up and bruise badly? Was there any blood in your urine? Have you been getting morning wood? If it wasn't a fracture, you could have just damaged some nerves since there was numbness. I don't know what kind of penis exercises you were doing, but those are very risky. Stay away from that shit, it's much better to have a small or average sized working penis, than a mangled big one. There are a variety of things it could be, so it's very important that you get into a urologist if you can. They will know a lot more about this kind of stuff than I do. Hang in there man, it's sounds like it's getting better but very slowly. I'm in the same boat, it's been almost two months for me and I still have pain. I recommend either taking the herbal treatments from this website, or doing what I did and getting some of the supplements I listed above. They seem to be helping. Also, you can do kegel exercises to strengthen your pelvic muscles.

Man thanks a lot for reply and sorry for late reply from me to ur massage. Yes man I have been to urology and performed MRI scan for the penis but no fracture or injury was found. I feel like I have burst some blood vessel around that area really if u know what I mean. I am requesting for ultrasound for the penis. I also waiting for order (Kanabo Repair Xtreme). I feel my life has stopped completely since the incedent. My penis feel like week and not firmed its feel like mushy and moist. I feel like it Ligament injury maybe??
What do you suggest for my situation have?

Thanks

Thank you sir! Like I said
Thank you sir! Like I said before, I kind of went crazy over the internet researching this stuff O.o My recovery is going very sloooow.. Having my already fragile unit mashed into a ladder was a bigger setback than I thought. I have a follow up at the urologist this Friday, so we'll see what they have to say. It's not going to be a quick fix like I was hoping! That's okay though, as long is it heals up and stops hurting I will be a happy man again :)

So, I didn't really get good
So, I didn't really get good news from the urologist, but I didn't get bad news either. Again, there were no breaks in the tissue so I didn't tear anything at least. He said that my pain is nerve pain. I don't know how much damage there is to the nerves, I haven't experienced any loss of sensitivity. Maybe a little bit, but it's hard to tell since I haven't really been testing it out. There is a chance that it could become chronic, but he didn't think it would. Fingers crossed. He just told me to take some aleve twice a day, and hot wrap it for 20-30 minutes a night. Which I was doing for a while, but to no avail. That ladder incident really set me back, I can't believe my luck lately. It was getting better until that point, then it got worse, and now it's staying steadily bad. I'll be seeing one of the top urologists where I live in the next couple weeks. Hopefully he'll be able to get to the bottom of this and help me out. I really don't want my dick to hurt constantly for the rest of my life.

John Doe

Ouch, that actually sounds
Ouch, that actually sounds like some bad news. Especially if this is a chronic thing. Hopefully it's not. Keep doing what they say and hopefully that helps you out. You say it is steadily bad. I really suggest you take some herbal supplements. Make it heal steadily good instead. I found the perfect one to help your problem out as well, Kanabo Nerve Fix. Helps fix all the nerves in the penis. I really hope you start healing, hearing about an injured penis (it being one of the most important parts of a mans' body) really sucks because I know they will not be able to enjoy sexual experiences like they did before. You are doing everything right so just keep doing it and hopefully positive results will occur.

Well, it wasn't what I wanted
Well, it wasn't what I wanted to hear. It was the same urologist who saw me last time, and this time he was even less thorough. He just looked at it briefly and squeezed it again. Also, he claimed that it wasn't red in the injured area. It is definitely a little red, I'm the one who looks at it every day so I would know. From what I've experienced, I don't think they can accurately diagnose me by the way they have been examining me. It can't possibly hurt forever, can it? The pain could very well be coming from a nerve, since the penis is riddled with nerves. But, I would think that if I had extensive nerve damage I would aslo have had some loss of feeling, right? I would jump right on to the herbal treatments at this point, but I'm broke and rent is coming up so I can't. I have good health insurance from my parents, so that's how I can afford going to the doctor. It was getting much better before that fucking ladder. It was for a job interview, and I had to lift a cinderblock on a rope up onto the ladder six times. I had to lean over the ladder, so all my weight, plus the weight of the cinderblock were pushing against my groin the whole time. I was so pissed off after that, that I declined the job. Before this, I had no pain unless I touched it, and the pain was minimal; almost gone. All the weird burning, tingling, and itching sensations were gone. That was a month ago, and since then the burning is back, and it aches just sitting here. It briefly switched to itching for a while shortly after that, and didn't hurt that bad. Then it went right back to aching and burning. I'm in constant pain in the worst place possible, and it has put me in a very bad state of mind. This has the capability of completely ruining my life, and I don't know what to do. Sorry, that is a lot to read, and I'm sure you are getting sick of me by now. I know that there's probably not much more you can do for me; I just needed to vent. Thanks for all the help and support, I really appreciate that. Hopefully I start seeing some progress again soon, because right now I feel doomed.

John Doe

I am sorry to hear you have
I am sorry to hear you have not had good experiences with the doctors. Sometimes it takes a little bit of searching to find the doctor that is just right.

You asked if it is possible to hurt forever. Well, the pain may subdue but pain will occur frequently if left untreated. Penis damage is a very serious problem and should be taken care of immediately. I hope the next doctor you see does something better for you.

Nerve damage, it can cause some loss of feeling but it is very possible to experience nerve damage without this side effect. The side effect of your nerve damage might be the pains you experience.

Great thing you declined that job. Imagine it were to happen again and again on a daily basis. The damage would be insane and you would definitely cause some chronic damage to that part of the body.

I am not sick of listening to your story. I am actually looking at it as an improvement to my knowledge. I want to be able to help you and also use your problem as an example to help other people. Although you may be in pain, you have to stop stressing. Stressing only makes any situation worse. Stress not only causes psychological problems but it can also cause physiological problems. Clear your mind and keep a positive attitude. Tell yourself, "I am going to fix and get through this", instead of drowning yourself in sorrows and negative thoughts that are only making the situation worse than it already is.

Well good, I hope that my story can help someone else in a similar situation as well.  I am well aware of how stress takes a toll on your body, and how psychological problems will manifest into physical problems. I knew this, but I still couldn't hold my shit together. It was just all I thought about, all day long every day. I think that my state of mind was almost as big of a set back as the ladder reinjury. I had a great stress relieving weekend, and I have seen a lot of progress! It's not aching or burning any more, and it's really not that sore to the touch. I went from no progress for an entire month, to a ton of progress in just a few days. If it keeps up at this rate, I should be back to normal in at least a month, hopefully sooner! Thanks again for all you're help. I'm going to take a break from this forum to further take my mind off of my problem. I will pop back in when I'm all healed up, and maybe give some advice on how to deal with this sort of thing. If something goes wrong, I'll be back. Hopefully not, and I will talk to you in the near future sir. Take it easy man.

Update
Hey man, just here for an update. My recovery is going alright I guess, I'm still not nearly back to normal yet. I read a story about a guy who had similar problems as me, and it took him 7 months to fully recover. I'm willing to bet that mine could take that long as well. It's amazing how easily, and badly I injured myself. My penis had been through worse! I still can't believe this happened. The last time I posted on here, I had just got over the burning sensations and it was kind of itching at that point. Now, it is itching like crazy internally. It's an itchy kind of stingy feeling, it's hard to describe. Either there is some serious healing going on in there, or something is not right. At the very top of the injured are about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way up my shaft is where it seems to be coming from. The healing process seems to be working its way from the base down towards the glans. The base was really sore at first, and now it is the least effected area.

For the most part it still hurts to touch it in the injured area. Sometimes though, like right now for instance. If I were to press on it, it doesn't really hurt but it makes it tingle and itch like crazy. It's like if you have a scab or a cut that is healing, and you press on it, it hurts at first and then it itches and kind of feels good. That's the best way I can describe it.  It's an extremely weird sensation to have coming from your dick. Also, the few time that I have tried to manually get an erection I noticed that the injured area filled up much quicker than the rest. The end portion of my shaft and glans took longer to swell up. It was kind of like a cone shape but not as drastic. It eventually turned into a full, even dispersed erection. I think I have said this before, but it feels like someone is pinching my penis like 2/3 the way down my shaft. It's almost like there is some kind of blockage going on in there. I don't know, I didn't describe that very well. My penis just feels extremely weird right now.  Any idea what is going on here? Does this sound like a normal recovery?

John Doe

The stuff you mentioned tends
The stuff you mentioned tends to happen. It will probably happen to you a little longer since you are taking on this recovery without any help. I also think you should stop trying to get erections in the meantime. It sounds like you are just trying to get them for fun. This might ruin the recovery. Especially don't masturbate. You have damage to your penis. This is the worst thing you can do to your penis when trying to recover from a penis injury.

The itching is part of your recovery for sure. This especially tends to happen when people have casts on their body. It is weird that you are having it on your penis however. Make sure it hasn't gotten infected or something. Also, you mentioned your penis will look like a cone. This is really not good. Although it only happens sometimes, it means that blood is having trouble pumping to the penis. You have to be careful if this continues. It might be anything from a venous leak or even some damaged scar tissue. I wouldn't approve of taking this thing on your own. I'm surprised your doctor didn't give you anything. Any help at all, some doctors even prescribe the kinds of herbal supplements that are on here. Make sure to keep me updated. Although it may seem like you are recovering, I feel like some parts of your recovery are getting worse. If anything different happens or things go away keep us updated.

Good luck! Stay healthy my friend.

Well, I am actually doing a
Well, I am actually doing a lot to try and recover. I'm still taking L-arginine, Vitamin C, E, and B, Aleve for inflammation, and I'm going to add some fish oil for inflammation. I've also been either hot wrapping my penis for 20-30 minutes a night, or soaking in a hot bath. I did have a purpose behind getting the erections, I caved in and masturbated. Mostly, just to let myself know that I can still experience pleasure from my penis, and that I can still use it, it still works. It's frustrating to not be able to use your penis, it makes you feel like you're not even a man. It is incredibly depressing and terrifying when your manhood is at risk. Anyways, it didn't hurt, it was well lubricated, gentle, and I completely avoided the injured area. Still, I shouldn't be masturbating, it's not helping. The cone shape, sounds a lot worse than it really is. It wasn't nearly that drastic; it was short lived and filled up evenly quickly after that. When I get a random boner, it fills up evenly. Now that I think about it, this would happen every so often before I injured my penis. I don't think it is a venous leak, because I can still hold good full erections. I don't know what it could be, just thought I would ask. Hopefully it's not scar tissue, I don't want to end up with Peyronies.

The doctors were basically useless. I had 3 different urologists examine me, and I learned more online than I did from them. They all basically told me that all I could do was hot wrap it and take aleve. The last one I saw was the only one that told me to leave it alone and refrain from sex and masturbation. He was actually somewhat helpfull and told me that the nerves and soft tissue just got stretched out in there, and  there weren't any tears. He also said that if has already been 2 months, then it might take another 2-3 months to fully heal. I'm coming up on three months very soon. He also told me that if it was still bothering me after that, to come in and they could take it off for me, haha.

I've had waves of itching since this happened. I was told by doctors that itching is a sign of healing, so I'm not too worried about that. It feels good compared to the burning. Also, when it itches it only barely hurts to touch it. Don't worry, I'm not poking at it and prodding it all day like I was at first. I just gently put Vitamin E oil on it at night, and then I can also see how it is feeling. One more thing that I forgot to mention is the occasional twitch. Once in a while I will get a twitch down the center of my penis, I'm guessing it is coming from the dorsal vein. It actually feels really good, but it is not normal. Should this be any cause for concern? As for the recovery as a whole, I honestly think that I would be recovered by now if it wasn't for that setback. That was a serious road block. Sorry, that is a lot to read. Thanks again Alex, you have been incredibly helpful and a huge pillar of support for me throughout this whole mess.

Glad I can help
To answer your first paragraph. Try not to feel so depressed. I know it isn't the best thing in the world to have a penis and not be able to use it at all but you need to try to keep a positive attitude. Like I always tell everyone and I am sure i've mentioned to you, a positive attitude will help for a quicker recovery. I see your point in masturbating now but now you know to not use that method again, good way to check up on things but you still had symptoms so should have waited a little longer to try that. You are still getting full erections, that's really good but very weird that it takes a while to fill up everywhere, should fill up evenly. As long as you avoid masturbating you should not have to worry about Peyronies.

3 doctors and same answers. At least that last one was smart. He is right, I would give it another 3 months before anything to see how that works out and see how far along the recovery is. If you still feel the symptoms please don't go back! NOOO!!! You'll lose your manhood. Haha. You should definitely go back for another evaluation if you still see symptoms.

That is a good sign about the itching. Glad to hear it wasn't what I thought. At least the burning is gone now. The twitch I believe are the damaged nerves and/or veins. You mention this is coming from the middle and you are correct once again, could very possibly be the dorsal vein. Since you are taking this recovery without any help, I would give it time and hope that it goes away. Keep me up to date on that concern.

I am glad your whole recovery is going good but I hope that twitch is gone soon. You have to let everything heal properly, or else it will heal the wrong way.

I've been trying to stay
I've been trying to stay positive, and I'm doing better than I was. I know how detrimental it can be to a recovery, the mind is a very powerful tool. It's like the quote, whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. Don't remember who it is by, but it is very true. If I think I won't recover and this is permanent, then it could be. I have to stay positive and tell myself it will get better, and that it is only temporary. Easier said than done!

That urologist had a good sense of humor at least! Haha. I don't think I would be going back even if he didn't make a joke about removing my penis. They flat out told me they can't really do anything to help me, so it is pointless to go back. If things go bad, I will seek out another urologist elsewhere that can help me. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.

The itching is a good sign, I agree. As for the twitch, it happens very rarely, and it actually feels really good. It can't be too bad if it feels good, right? I'm not too concerned about that, I was just kind of wondering what it could be. It's refreshing to have good feelings coming from my penis every once in a while. I'm definitely going to leave it alone until it gets better, then I'm going to leave it alone for a while longer. I have a high sex drive, so this will be hard. But, it's better than doing more damage or delaying recovery so it will be worth it. I'll let you know how it's going soon. Take it easy man.

Henry Ford, "Whether you
Henry Ford, "Whether you think you can or can't, you're right." Great quote! You couldn't have put it in a more perfect way. Stay positive! Fight the battle with your negative thoughts and let the positivity win.

The uroligist situation is understandable. You have to be comfortable with your doctors because you have to have trust with them. I hope it doesn't come to that either but if it does, it better be a 4th time's the charm situation.

Sex drive is probably one of the biggest problems that people face during recovery from penis damage. They just want to have sex, enjoy the sensations they get when pleasing themselves or getting pleased. It's a great feeling, everyone loves sex. You can do it, just fight it and you'll feel a lot better.

Good luck! Stay healthy my friend.

Thanks man, I hope so too.. I want answers! It seems like it's getting better one day, then the next day it's worse. With no aggravation from my side whatsoever; I'm leaving it the hell alone. Hopefully they can help me out some way, or at least give me a better explanation than just calling it strained.

Thanks man, I will continue to update my progess. Hopefully, I can help someone else who goes through this kind of thing. Unfortunately, they will probably find this after they injured themselves, but at least they will know what to expect, what to do, and what not to do.

Of course it will help
Of course it will help someone. They will maybe seek out further help for a faster recovery but regardless, reading your story will inspire them that there is hope. That they can recover one day.

Very true. People might even
Very true. People might even be able to relate to this and go through something similar. I think just the fact that there is someone else going through a similar process will soothe their mind. The feeling that they're not alone.

Wow, I just realized how many
Wow, I just realized how many views this has got. In that case, I guess I should shed some wisdom to people going through a similiar, truly terrible experience. Here are the mistakes I made that you want to avoid, and some guidelines to follow.

1) Do not touch your dick! At all. No masturbation, no sex, nothing. Don't poke and prod at it to see how it's feeling, just leave it alone. Very important, I cannot stress that enough. Touching it only makes it worse, and it will take longer to heal. The only touching should be from hot wraps, and holding it to piss. You can kind of gauge how it is feeling then. Maybe a light touch every week or so to see if you're making progress, but that is all. You really don't want to deal with this any longer than you need to.

2) Do not put anything on your dick. No creams, no Vitamin E, nothing. Firstly, this requires touching your dick (remember rule #1?). And secondly, it is a very sensitive part and you don't know how it is going to react.  I was putting vitamin E oil on mine, twice daily for about two months. I read online that it helps, but it was only making it worse. Very stupid mistake on my part.

3) Don't freak out, be negative, and dwell on it. Dwelling on it and thinking about it constantly only makes it worse. This is very hard to do, and I still haven't mastered this one yet. It is extremely frightening, I know, but you have to try and stay calm and positive. Try and find an outlet. Anything that takes your mind off of it will be beneficial to you physically and mentally.

As for my recovery, I'm continuing to slowly get better. It doesn't feel too bad right now. It would still hurt to touch it I'm sure, but just sitting here it doesn't hurt. I get occasional aching, but it isn't too painful and I haven't had any pains yet today. The itching has subsided for now. The vitamin e oil was making the itching worse, and I only realized that about five days ago. It is still slightly red and darker colored in the injured area. That has gotten a tiny, tiny bit better since I stopped puting vitamin e on it. Redness is also a side effect of vitamin e oil. I'm willing to bet that it won't feel completely normal until it looks normal again. The redness means that it is still inflamed (I think). I can't wait for this to be over! Today marks 3 months. It's easy to remember when it happened because it was on my birthday. Quite the birthday present! I'll never forget that one! I've even had nightmares about having a mangled dick, and when I wake up I'm relieved, but then reality sets in and I wish I could wake up again. I can't even have sex in my dreams! When the opportunity arises, I'm always like no I can't, my dick hurts it will make it worse. Fuck man! Needless to say, I have broken rule # 3 many times, while conscious and unconscious!

No really great news yet, but I'm getting there! When I do have that great news I'll be out doing the hellicopter in the street screaming for joy. Okay, maybe I won't take it that far, but I will be extremely happy.

Very good advice. I am glad
Very good advice. I am glad you have incorporated some of what I told you in there. Keep working on #3! Like you said, it is the hardest because it is so easy to be negative about a situation like yours. Glad to see you're still making progress and realizing things on your own. I didn't think about the damage that oil would do. Glad you found that out. I bet not a lot of people know that one. I still wish you the best and remember to keep us up to date on your situation.
