I am 38-years-old. And I too suffer from an enlarged prostate that prevents me from enjoying sex or sleeping at night. My prostate causes me to experience multiple issues with urination. I cannot work, sleep or engage in sex without having to go to the bathroom. Now I fear this urinary problem will get me fired. Please help me.

Diagnosing the Problem
Prostate enlargement is an extremely common condition, especially among older men, but that's of little comfort to a sufferer. For some people, the condition is a natural albeit annoying consequence of getting older, like hair loss, vision loss, or a contempt for finding children on one's lawn. At 38, though, you're a bit on the younger side. Most men suffering from natural prostate enlargement are over the 55, so there's probably more going on here than mere aging.
 
Do you have sex or masturbate frequently? If so, you may want to cut back. Excess ejaculation causes hormones like DHT to inflame the prostate, and that contributes to the kind of enlargement—and by extension, the kind of urinary incontinence—that you're feeling. An over-abundance of DHT can also be characteristic of other lifestyle factors, such as poor diet, smoking or drug use. So start by taking care of your body if you haven't done so already.
