Too Quick or Not Quick Enough: Male Eajaculation Disorder

Men who orgasm too quickly are said to experience premature ejaculation issues; when men cannot orgasm at all, they are said to suffer from sensitivity issues. Both problems can present issues for a man and his partner. Premature ejaculation can arise from anxiety issues, drug abuse and sexual fatigue. Lack of stimulation can arise from a lack of feeling in the penis due to injury.

Premature Ejaculation Due to Anxiety

During sex, some men fail to adequately control their breathing, leading to an orgasm. Premature ejaculation caused by anxiety can have the following effects on the body:

  • Increase of heart rate to circulate more blood, hormones and chemicals produced by the brain for concentration and thinking
  • Stimulation of the body to produce more blood sugar and adrenalin thus providing more energy
  • Diversion of the blood from less vital areas (such as the digestion system and genitals) to arms and legs for strength, and an increase of breathing to provide more oxygen to the body.

Sexually, anxiety will cause a decreased enjoyment of pleasure; increase sensitivity to pain and stimulus, occasional impotence and the constant occurrence of premature ejaculation.

Premature Ejaculation Caused by Hormone Imbalance

Testosterone and estrogen are both present in males and females. For men, the prime hormone is testosterone. When insufficient testosterone is produced, the result is impotence, often due to old age, and drug and alcohol abuse. When too much testosterone is produced, males ejaculate too quickly. Males often suffering from a hormone imbalance will also have an enlarged or enflamed prostate.

Improper diet, drugs, hyperthyroidism, cancer, or physical abnormalities can all enlarge a prostate, but so can high levels of testosterone. When too much testosterone is produced, the body cannot convert the hormone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which can overwork and overheat your prostate and lead a male to ejaculate quicker than he would like.

Premature Ejaculation Caused by Excessive Masturbation

Masturbation teaches the body to orgasm more easily; masturbation also teaches the body to be more receptive and sensitive to physical stimulation. Frequent masturbation and ejaculation will stimulate the acetylcholine along with the parasympathetic nervous functions, leading to quick and sudden explosions that leave your partner less than pleased.

Masturbation and frequent ejaculation depletes the brain and spinal fluids of acetylcholine, dopamine and serotonin and the hormones such as hGH, DHEA, testosterone, thyroxine (T4) and Triiodothyronine (T3), neurotransmitters that are responsible for normal bodily and brain functioning, including sexual performance.

Penis Injuries

Experiencing an orgasm too quickly can have detrimental effects on the mind and on a relationship. However, not being able to orgasm at all can also lead to serious psychological effects. Males who have used penis pumps or rings can rupture the blood vessels in the organ and prevent erections. Abuse of such devices can also lead to a loss in sensation; a side effect often seen as a result of abusing penis rings and cutting off blood circulation to the organ.

Penis pumps, rings and even fractures in the organ itself due to bad sex positions can all lead to fractures. Penis fractures result in scar tissue to form that leads to a noticeable decrease of penile sensitivity. When a penis has suffered an injury, such as a fracture, the subsequent cylinder rupture doesn’t always heal properly – even after surgery.

Help with Orgasm Disorders

Males suffering from P.E. or lack of sensitivity may look to try a Climax Control Herbs & Pills For Healthy Nerve Cell Signaling to help relax the nerve endings and strengthen the ejaculatory valve for better orgasm control. While individuals who suffer from penis injuries may look to try a Penile Fracture & Trauma Recovery Solution to help restore the organ to its original state.
