Drug Ring: Getting Hard When You’re On the Hard Stuff
We belong to a nation of drug users. Although in most places even marijuana still remains illegal, people are able to get their hands on pretty much anything they’re looking for. These days, it’s unusual to find a person of the young set that isn’t using drugs in one form or another. It’s not as though the use of many of the drugs is anything new; cocaine and heroin have been around for centuries, marijuana as well, although it was almost never licit. Psilocybin mushrooms, peyote, and mescaline are old news, but always controlled. Now we’ve also got chemical contraband such as LSD and MDMA, as well as meth, and a host of prescription drugs.

Weird Fears
People seem to have gotten over their fears of overdose or bad tripping, but don’t seem aware of the potential sexual side effects. In fact, many of my friends joke about the encounters they’ve had that have ended badly due to drug use. “I just couldn’t get hard, and eventually she just went home.” “Every time I tried to put it in, my dick just got soft,” and the most bizarre, “Her vagina looked so terrifying that I had to turn the lights off to get an erection.”
Chemicals Don’t Make Me Sick Again
Unfortunately, it’s not all fun and games when it comes to drug use, as habitual drug users can tell you. Even beyond the obvious risks of addiction and potential poisoning, all drugs interfere with brain processes, and numerous other bodily functions as well. Blood pressure can drop off or go through the roof, sex drive can be destroyed or sex made unendurable, even simple arousal can be ruined. It all has to do with the chemicals at work in the drugs themselves.

If a person does choose to engage in regular drug use, they’re essentially giving up all hope of normal sexual relations. This problem affects men and women, although men are generally the ones with more to show—or to not show—for it. Having been with more than one habitual drug user in my time, I can tell you that it’s rather more than annoying when you’re ready to go, and he can’t get it to go. It’s unfortunate that one must choose between one pleasure and another, but I think I’d rather be able to continue enjoying sex and not looking odd, when it comes down to it.

Manly Ideas
However, this wasn’t the mindset of my friend Jack. “Sex is sex; it’s always gonna be there,” Jack told me, when I asked him about his drug use and sexual performance. “Each time I do drugs, it’s different than any other time. I get more out of it than banging some chick, and I think it helps me concentrate on finding a girl who I really mesh with, instead of just for sex’s sake.” But, of course, he’s still embarrassed when he experiences erectile dysfunction.

“It doesn’t happen every time, but sometimes I can only get to half mast. It’s usually after a night of partying, and I’m sure it’s happened to every guy,” Jack maintained. Well, it doesn’t happen to every guy, but it sure does happen to guys using drugs like MDMA, cocaine, meth, or any other adrenaline-boosting drug. The influx of adrenaline and noradrenalin is burnt through and when the body needs it, say, for sex, it’s just not available.

Slow Starter
This certainly isn’t a problem that’s solved over night, either. Even if a man realizes the error of his ways, he can’t just stop doing the drugs and see instant results. He’ll still have issues with erectile dysfunction, sometimes up to a year after stopping the drug. What’s a guy to do? In many cases, cock rings can serve as a temporary way to get back in the game, while your body works to heal itself.

All Cocked Up
Cock rings come in many shapes and sizes, but are generally of a gummy-type texture, easy to slide down a lubricated penis. Once snuggly fitted, the ring holds blood inside the penis, assisting in erection where there isn’t enough blood for a nice, true boner. I asked Jack to test one out, just to hear his thoughts, as he obviously wasn’t interested in quitting the drug scene. Results came back positive. Says Jack, “The girl thought it was kinda weird that I was putting something on my dick, but I’d gotten one with a vibrator, so I played it off ok. It actually did help me keep it up, and I think we both had a better time than we would have without.”

Derail Those Drugs
So there you have it, guys. Drugs might be fun, but they’ll destroy your ability to have fun in other arenas. If you just can’t wean yourself off of them, a cock ring will keep you a sexually functioning adult for now. (TRY: Cock Rings for Drug Destroyed Erections) And they can be really fun, especially those that vibrate, or have little tentacles on them, and so on. Explore for yourself, you might want one even if you aren’t having any problems at all!
