I lost both testicles and have been on hormone therapy… So many herbal products are designed to stimulate the production of testosterone in the testes. Since that is not possible for me, is there something I could take in place of or in addition to therapy.
Case Study #9147 Date: 9/18/2000
Because of hernia surgery on both sides and the incompetence of surgeons, I lost both testicles and have been on hormone replacement therapy. Since I produce no testosterone, I have been told that I must continue this therapy.
So many herbal products are designed to stimulate the production of testosterone in the testes. Since that is not possible for me, is there something I could take in place of or in addition to the therapy that would restore potency approximating what I had before the surgery (10 years ago)? I eagerly await your reply.
Thanks.
Dr Lin’s Response:
You need more than testosterone therapy. You need the brain/nervous function to release the erectile neurotransmitter Nitric Oxide (NO) in the nervous endings inside the penile spongy tissues. Without NO, no matter how much testosterone is loaded into your bloodstream, you won't get an erection at all.
Also, there is an erectile switch of the afferent-efferent interneurons in the spinal cords S2-S4. To constantly keep this switch on, we have to elevate the brain's acetylcholine level and to reduce the stress hormonal adrenalin production. You also need a reasonable DHEA level to improve your endurance on the stress hormone.
Therefore, you need Power V, plus a low dose of Fibra . This formula will keep your brain's acetylcholine and dopamine level high and the stress hormone low in your brain and bloodstream to short the erection circuit. It also elevates your hGH, DHEA and testosterone levels too.
