He is suffering from premature ejaculation and nervous system problems as a result of heroin and methadone abuse.
Question:
My problem is premature ejaculation. My age is 32 and I am a male. I have a history of heroin and methadone abuse, which I see as a root of my problem. Before starting using heroin, which lasted for about 7 years with many periods of clean time, I had a fine sex life, which started when I was 17. At an early age I became familiar with non-ejaculatory sex and the dangers of masturbating often. In fact, I masturbated very rarely in my life. My body is now fine and I can tell that I am quite fit. My nervous system is not good and I would assess that my parasympathetic nervous system is not good since I am not calm enough. When I was using heroin I could last for hours with my girlfriend without ejaculating. Now when I am clean I am in an opposite state and cannot endure more then few minutes. Shortly after I got clean I also had problems with wet dreams, which stopped now. My friends from my support group (NA) who have abstained for a longer period of time say that this is a common problem and that it heals itself automatically after about one year of abstention. However, I would like to take some steps in order to heal myself faster.
Now I take only St. Johns Wort, fish oil -- Omega 3 (1000 mg per day) and B-complex vitamins. I also drink some vine every day. My frequency of lovemaking now is about every 2-3 days. What would be the best for me to do in order to help myself?
Best regards!
Answer:
You have definitely done a great deal of damage to your body by abusing heroin and methadone. And yes, this kind of drug use can result in premature ejaculation. Endorphins are regularly released in the brain and nerves and mask pain. Both drugs, heroin and methadone, enter into the bloodstream and cerebrospinal fluids and work on the brain's endorphin and opioid receptors, mimicking endorphin by inducing a high sense of well-being and intense euphoria and masking pains, but they cut off the natural production of endorphins.
Heroin and methadone activate four neurotransmitters -- β-endorphin, dynorphin, leu-enkephalin, and met-enkephalin. The problem is once heroin enters into the cerebrospinal fluid and bloodstream, it reduces or stops production of the opioids by destroying the production cells in the brain and damaging the liver enzyme release support. The disabling of endorphin production in the brain creates a dependence on heroin, and the cessation of heroin use results in withdrawal symptoms, including foggy brain, drug craving, restlessness, muscle and bone pain, and vomiting. Heroin and methadone are poisons to cells and neurons. Chronic use of the drugs results in brain/nervous disease, traumatic injuries, hypoxia, hypoglycemia, hypovolemia, acidosis, metabolic disease, collapsed veins, infection of the heart lining and valves, abscesses, liver disease and pulmonary complications.
Since heroin and methadone act like natural endorphins that block the receptors for substance P -- a neurotransmitter that transmits pain and stimulation signals from neuro-muscular endings to the brain -- they can block ejaculation and semen production and disable your natural ejaculation and orgasmic ability. Once you stopped taking the drugs, your brain's endorphin production was destroyed and you can no longer control your ejaculation or produce semen at all.
ViaPal-HGH-P, 5-HTP, DeToxiA, ArgiNOx and fish oil (1000 mg each meal) will help you gradually rejuvenate your neuro-endocrine function and boost your prostaglandin E-1/E-3 and nitric oxide production for healing.
Premature ejaculation can be treated effectively with herbs. Damiana is good for improving blood flow to the genital area and increasing desire. Wild yam contains natural steroids that rejuvenate and give vigor to lovemaking. Yohimbe bark expands the blood vessels in the penis, increases blood flow and nitrous oxide, which is important for maintaining an erection. Fo-Ti possesses properties similar to ginseng, increasing energy, preserving youth and restoring impaired sexual function. Nacre/Ostrea tranquilizes the mind and helps reduce anxiety associated with premature ejaculation. Gardenia helps calm the body, soothing muscles, curing insomnia, alleviating mental irritability and stress and helping sufferers of premature ejaculation and performance anxiety to relax and regain control. Passion flower has a calming effect on the body, reducing stress and anxiety, the main precipitating factors of premature ejaculation. Lotus seed is useful for preventing the leakage of essence, and thus is commonly used to prevent or treat premature ejaculation. Palm-leaf raspberry modulates hormone balances. Euryale ferox has been highly regarded for restoring sexual vigor and youthful energy in older men since ancient times. Dogwood strengthens and nourishes the uro-genital system and its astringent property helps control involuntary ejaculation. Rehmannia root powder is used to enhance sexual performance as well as to replenish vitality. Horny goat weed boosts libido, increases testosterone, and protects the body against the effects of stress. Ginkgo improves peripheral circulation, oxygenation, and increases blood flow to the genitals to improve sexual function and the power of an erection. American ginseng improves quality of life, improves sex life, helps with premature ejaculation, and has a calming effect. Cistanche is used to reinforce the vital function of sexual organs and is used for the treatment of impotence and premature ejaculation. Flattened milkvetch seed is also quite effective at treating premature ejaculation.
