A 22 year-old man's marijuana smoking and over-masturbation resulted in low libido, erectile dysfunction, and premature ejaculation.
Question:
Hi, I am 22 years-old. I don't know what means to be an excessive masturbator. But I think I fit into that category. Since I was about 13 I have masturbated between 1 and 10 times a week. I have recently started smoking marijuana about 3 years ago. I smoke between 1 and 10 times a month. Over the past 6 months I have noticed a severe drop in libido. And I have not been able to maintain or even achieve a really hard erection. I premature ejaculate constantly. As a young adult in high school, my erections were full and rigid ALWAYS. I have been experimenting with Enzyte, but I am having minimal effects. I have curbed my masturbation and marijuana usage, but I still have not regained my sexual function. I have heard of Boston Medical Group in seeking treatment. And I am interested in seeing a urologist. However, I would like to know your views on seeking a fast and full recovery.
Answer:
Your sexual dysfunction is probably the result of a number of unhealthy behaviors, starting with over-masturbation and marijuana smoking. And yes, up to 10 times a week qualifies as over-masturbation for most people. Your pot smoking is excessive, also.
Marijuana abuse raises the level of the inflammatory hormone prostaglandin E-2 in the body which can induce inflammation in brain arteries, constricting blood flow to the brain. These narrowed arteries require high blood pressure to pump blood up to your brain. Prostaglandin E2 can also loosen the brain-blood barrier and then increase the drug's penetration into the cerebrospinal fluid. All of this can result in hypertension, headaches, migraines, blurred version, gum inflammation, sleeping disorder, and ear ringing, in addition to brain disorders, body or joint pains and inflammation, liver and kidney inflammation, and disorders of the prostate, uterus, cervix, bladder, and urethra. Marijuana use can also cause brain hemorrhage, enlargement of brain cavities, and brain tissue death.
Marijuana chemicals are toxins, poisonous to healthy cells. Exposure to its chemicals can put your body in a state of "chemotherapy" that deadens your nerves, leading to sexual exhaustion. The brain's acetylcholine and parasympathetic nervous functions are responsible for sustaining an erection during sex. The chemicals in marijuana gradually take over acetylcholine in the brain and nervous system, causing the brain and autonomonic nervous functions to become disordered. The neurotransmitter nitric oxide and dilator cGMP become suppressed, leading to a failure to achieve an erection or orgasm.
Once marijuana's chemicals take over the inter-neurons or synapses, it is very difficult to flush it from the brain and nervous system. After prolonged use, this scale of nervous system destruction can potentially lead to permanent impotence. In addition, a man may fail to achieve orgasm due to the acetylcholine deficiency in the sympathetic ganglions and adrenal medulla. It is here where acetylcholine helps link the sympathetic nervous functions for the release of norepinephrine and epinephrine that triggers orgasmic contraction in the pelvic contractive fibers. Seminal production and testicular functions will gradually shut down. Then, ejaculation becomes less and less, and finally dries up. At that point, it will be too late for a man to revive his sexual life.
Power E or Power V with DeToxiA can help you treat the side effects of marijuana abuse, leading to restored health and sexual function. It takes 2 or 3 months for these formulas to cleanse the liver, inter-neurons and synapses for those using marijuana. Additionally, you can restore sexual potency by treating the underlying medical damage with herbs. Cynomorium is an herb used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat impotence in men and infertility in women. Rehmannia root powder is used to enhance sexual performance as well as to replenish vitality, strengthen the liver, kidney, and heart, and for treatment of a variety of ailments like diabetes, anemia, and urinary tract problems. Horny Goat Weed boosts libido, increases testosterone, and protects the body against the effects of stress. Arginine supplementation is effective at improving sexual function in men with abnormal nitric oxide metabolism. Yohimbe has been shown to effectively treat men with sexual dysfunction. Epimedium produces sex hormones. Cuscuta improves potency. Schizandra is a berry that calms frazzled nerves. Lycium fruit helps improve circulation. And cornus is a Chinese fruit that helps to regulate hormone levels.
Excessive sexual activity and over-ejaculation lead to overproduction of androgen hormones, causing adrenal and sex organ fatigue, and excess release of dopamine to maintain prolonged sexual arousal. Since dopamine is the precursor to the stress hormone epinephrine (adrenaline), excess dopamine results in the adrenal glands overproducing epinephrine and putting the body in a prolonged state of fight-or-flight stress. At the same time, norepinephrine is synthesized from dopamine and released from the adrenal medulla into the blood as a hormone, along with the stress hormone cortisol. Epinephrine, norepinephrine and cortisol fuel the fight-or-flight response, directly increasing heart rate, triggering the release of glucose from energy stores, and increasing blood flow to skeletal muscle. All of this has a severely taxing effect on the body.
The hormone prostaglandin E-2, which serves an important function in sexual arousal, is also overproduced and has an inflammatory effect on the body, damaging tissues, nerves and joints, weakening immunity, causing muscular and nervous pain, and promoting infection, inflammation, and even cancer. Chronic elevation of epinephrine and prostaglandin E2 results in severe damage to brain cells and parasympathetic nerves in the liver, lungs, adrenal glands, heart, blood vessels, digestive system, pancreas, gallbladder, ovaries, uterus, cervix, testicles and prostate. As a result, you can experience a variety of symptoms, including depression, anxiety, bodily pains, vision problems, persistent sexual arousal and sexual dysfunction such as impotence and premature ejaculation in men and a lack of sexual stimulation in women.
All of this over-activity and stress causes the pituitary gland and testicles (ovaries in women) to become disabled for a few days or even months, leading to a long refraction time or a long-term sexual exhaustion and inflammation. First, you may feel your muscles and joints become very tight and rigid upon ejaculation. An extremely exhausted adrenal function can cause an extreme low level of DHEA and cortisol, resulting in fatigue and pains throughout the body, including the back. The pain becomes severe at about 2-4 hours after ejaculating due to the sudden drop of DHEA, testosterone and DHT. You may experience pains for a couple of days until your prolactin and cortisol levels are returned to their normal ranges.
In order to reverse the ill-effects of excessive sexual activity, over-masturbation, or over-ejaculation, stop sexual activity for a few weeks. Let your body rest and replenish. Then you can come back to it with a lower frequency. A healthy habit is to ejaculate a total of three to four times a week.
ViaPal-HGH-P, ArginOx and fish oil (1000 mg each meal) will help you gradually rejuvenate your neuro-endocrine function and boost your prostaglandin E-1/E-3, oxytocin and nitric oxide production for erection and orgasm. American ginseng and maca help to rejuvenate your entire body. Horny goat weed and yohimbe will help increase flood flow and nutrient absorption for a harder erection and better ejaculation control. Damiana and saw palmetto will heal your prostate, which is responsible for producing and releasing semen and which is most likely overworked with your excessive sexual activity or masturbation.
